RiseUp is growing and we need your help! We have a new and innovative way of Empowering Communities through athletics and recreational activities.  We have teaching moments and coaching moments, we mentor, guide and inspire! Most importantly, we are committed to the families we serve!

Jobs and Internships for 2024!

Timeline and Important Dates:
• Interviews for this position will start October 1st.
• Contracts will be offered by February 1st.
• Directors assist in identifying at least 2 assistants 
• Directors and Coach meetings will start March.
• Location assignments will be announced in March.
• All must be ready to travel by June 1st, 2024.
• Travel opportunities end September 30th, 2024.

Unless otherwise negotiated, all coaches are hired as Contractors. A current W-9 is needed before payments can be made for services rendered. DOWNLOAD HERE:

What To Expect

We have a new and innovative way of Empowering Communities through athletics and recreational activities. 

 

Our differentiator: We have teaching moments and coaching moments, we mentor, guide and inspire! Most importantly, we are committed to the Military and Community families we serve!

TEACHING MOMENTS: Teaching moments allow the coaches to stop the game so that he/she can review any skills and emphasize proper techniques.  ​

COACHING MOMENTS: Coaching Moments are traditional situations that require coaches to talk about game strategy and execution.  

 

This concept is very effective yet simple to execute. The rules allow for all kids to feel as if they are part of the game. 

Camp Director

- Responsible for the overall execution of the camp

- Liaison between between RiseUp admin and military base program staff

- Ensures camp staff have access to transportation via car rental

- Keep abreast of any issues that could result in less than ideal experience for the installation

Camp Assistants

- Responsible for the set up and breakdown of camp equipment

- Leads and participates in program activities

- Assist with capturing moments with smart phone or other device to be shared on social media

- Keep abreast of any issues that could result in less than ideal experience for the installation

Interns

- Responsible for the set up and breakdown of camp equipment

- Leads and participates in program activities

- Assist with capturing moments with smart phone or other device to be shared on social media

- Follow any guidance provide by university/college to ensure credit is earned

All staff must go through extensive local, national and military background checks. Must be 21 and older. Have a valid and current driver's license. Contact admin@riseupcamps.org with any questions.
